Dominic Stinton

Dominic Stinton is an artist and filmmaker with a keen interest in London's untold stories.
His documentaries include 'A Portrait of Walthamstow Market (2007)' which was featured on BBC London and ITV London tonight.

In 2019's Leytonstone Loves Film, Dominic presented the installation 'The Leytonstone Picture Palace' at the Stone Space Gallery, paying tribute to the lost Rialto cinema with a multi-sensory multimedia exhibition featuring archival materials, filmed reminiscences, new silent movies and fresh popcorn.

This year, in the workshop 'Makes Like Acres', Dominic will be taking 12 lucky volunteers back to the world of 1890's cinema and showing them how to make their very own silent movies.
