Future Film Focus presents “Smartphone: Life on Film” a project for first time filmmakers to capture what it feels like to live life in lockdown in the Summer of 2020.

Produced, shot and edited by Lauren, Monday and Shola, a young production team from Waltham Forest  (Chingford, Leyton, Leytonstone and Walthamstow) this series of 3 short films and 3 online workshops will propel your ideas to a finished film using what you have to hand, your ideas, and of course, your smartphone.

With contributions from young filmmakers and professionals, the tutorials give guidance and tips on how to film for the first time, whatever your experience of film while the workshops give you an opportunity to put some of the tips and guidance into practice.
